Everybody Is Under The Law
Due process is the priority of order,
and it is both good and compulsory.

Introduction
From time to time, you hear people say that those who are led by the Holy Spirit not under the law. They are happy and proud to say this. However, the fact is that everybody is under the law, and order is the first law in heaven. The laws of God are the everlasting laws of life. And Jesus made it clear that every iota of the scriptures, including the laws – commandments, statutes and precepts – must be fulfilled. It is unfortunate that many formulate any kind of belief they like anytime and anywhere and hold on to it as if it were a commandment of God.
The Source Of The Error
The Bible portion from where people got this false belief and teaching is Galatians 5:16-18.
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
The True Meaning Of Not Being Under The Law
Many ministers of God have misunderstood the reference and are busy teaching what is false to the congregations. Actually, a person who is being led by the Holy Spirit is not under the law in the following contexts:
- The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Truth. Truth includes the laws of life, which are unchangeable, impartial and perfect.
- A person who is being led by the Holy Spirit is full of the holy spirit. Therefore, keeping the law is no longer a burden to him. Instead, he finds it easy and enjoyable to keep the laws of God.
- A person who commits sin or crime is under the law, because he is punished for his sins. But a person, who is led by the holy spirit and who does not commit crime is not punished. He is free, indeed, because he is innocent.
- Again, the Holy Spirit leads the born again in the paths of righteousness. He empowers the born again to do good and to stay away from troubles.
- The works of the flesh are evil and they lead to hell fire wherein is everlasting punishment.
- But, the works of the spirit are good; they lead to eternal life that is full of abundant treasures and pleasures.
- When a sinner turns to live a spiritual life, all the sins and demons causing them gradually withdraw or fall of by themselves, even before the person knows what is happening. He becomes a new creature, no longer under bondage.
- Besides, by living selfless life and by chanting the names of God, a person eventually sets himself free from the law of karma, which demands that he suffers for the sins committed in either in his present lifetime or in the previous lifetimes.
Therefore, Avoid The Works Of The Flesh
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 2 0 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Embrace The Works Of The Holy Spirit
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
